Before you send your photos
What photos do I need?
Two are required: a front view, facing the camera straight on, and a side profile, turned fully to the left or right. A third, of the back of your head, is optional but helps with length. Hair down, no hat or sunglasses, natural daylight if you can, no filters.
Can I take them right now with my phone?
Yes. On the form, tap a photo slot and choose the camera. Ask someone to take them if you can, at about chest height, a step or two back. Selfies work too; just keep the phone level with your face rather than above it.
What do I get back?
A written recommendation from your stylist: what your face shape and texture ask for, specific cut, length and framing suggestions with the reasoning, fringe and colour direction, and one clear final recommendation you can bring to any salon.
How long does it take?
Usually within 3 calendar days. You will get an email confirming we received your photos, and another when your recommendation is ready.
Is this written by AI?
No. We may use AI-assisted tools to help with the mechanical parts of the work, but a professional stylist reviews, edits, and approves every recommendation before it is sent. Nothing reaches you automatically.
Who sees my photos?
Your stylist, and no one else. Photos are stored privately, opened only through short-lived secure links, and deleted automatically 60 days after your recommendation is sent. You can ask us to delete them sooner by replying to any email from us. See the privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
No. Just your name and an email address for the reply.
What if my photos aren’t good enough?
Your stylist will email you and say exactly what to change, with a link to send new ones. It happens; lighting and angles are hard to judge from the front of a phone.
Is the recommendation a guarantee?
It is a professional recommendation based on photographs. Please talk it through with whoever cuts your hair before making changes; results depend on things no photo can show.
